Pulmonaria is a low spreading plant with showy silver-spotted foliage. In spring, sprays of tiny flowers appears. ‘Smokey Blue’ has dark-green lance-shaped leaves with numerous silver spots. Flowers are light blue, and fade to pink. ‘Excalibur’ has broader, oval leaves that are mostly silver with green edges. Its flowers are pink. 'Majeste' has large silver-gray leaves with green edging. Deer don’t bother Pulmonarias.
